Memstar Corporation leverages continues to develop a strategic patent portfolio covering novel designs for micro-optoelectronic components, mainly clustered around key intellectual property pertaining to device architecture, packaging technologies and assembly automation aspects of a wide range of components used in optical communications.

In most engineering development services partnerships, Memstar retains the intellectual property of the engineering designs developed, although provides to its customers broad licensing agreements, both exclusive and non-exclusive in scope.
